From Tuesday 2nd June, the port of Port Ellen on Islay has been closed for major upgrades and modernisation, with the site expected to remain closed until 2029. During this period, all CalMac services to Islay will operate from Kennacraig to Port Askaig only.
If you are scheduled to take part in a survey from Kennacraig to Port Ellen and Port Askaig, your survey will now consist of two return crossings to Port Askaig instead.
